This Low Sodium Garlic Bread recipe is a salt-free appetizer or side, perfect for garlic lovers! Crunchy, crispy, and wicked tasty with low sodium bread, loads of fresh garlic, and unsalted butter.
Cut your low sodium bread into desired serving portions: I like thicker slices for a traditional round loaf - or I'll cut a slice of sandwich bread diagonally into triangles. Place bread on a baking sheet.
In a small dish or jar, add the olive oil, chopped fresh garlic, and garlic powder and mix well to combine.
Using a basting brush, cover the face up bread with the olive oil/garlic mixture. Ensure that every nook and cranny of the bread has garlic.
Place under the broiler for 3-4 minutes, and check. Each oven’s broiler is different, so be very careful not to burn your garlic bread. Make sure it is crisp and beginning to brown at the edges, not harden and blacken.
Remove garlic bread from oven, and sprinkle the top with crushed red pepper flakes, paprika, and parsley. Serve hot, and enjoy!
