Low Sodium Taco Seasoning

This Low Sodium Taco Seasoning recipe is bright, bold, and loaded with flavor without salt!  A delicious blend of pantry spices that will jazz up your next taco night. Salt free taco seasoning is a fantastic alternative to store-bought blends. You can make a single batch, or bulk blend this spice to store in the pantry for many Taco Tuesdays to come.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon crushed pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoons Lime Juice Powder

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients: chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, and powdered lime.
  • Stir well with a spoon until all spices are mixed into an even blend.
  • Start by adding 2 tablespoons to your taco recipe. Taste and add more if desired.
  • Store extra taco seasoning in an airtight mason jar in your pantry, which will keep fresh for up to 1 month.
