Ingredients
  

  • 6 ounces No-Salt-Added Tomato Paste
  • ¼ cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch Cayenne Pepper optional, to taste

Instructions
 

  • To a medium mixing bowl, add the no-salt-added tomato paste, vinegar, honey, brown sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and cayenne (if using.)
  • Mix well until all ingredients are well combined and you have a thick ketchup.
  • Taste, and adjust seasonings as needed - adding more honey or brown sugar for a sweeter sauce, or more vinegar or garlic powder to make it more savory.
  • Ketchup will last for up to one week in the refrigerator in an airtight container.

This ketchup recipe makes approximately 1 cup of ketchup. That is 16 tablespoons, or 8 (2 tablespoon) servings.
