This low sodium hot chocolate is the perfect treat for late night chocolate cravings. Hot chocolate is my go-to drink when I have a sweet tooth but don’t want a full dessert. This sweet drink is made with raw cacao, milk of your choice, and a few naturally sweet ingredients for the perfect drink.
I thought all hot chocolate was low sodium… until I started to read the labels. You’d be amazed at the preservatives and salt that goes into some of those store-bought cocoa mixes. I decided to make one for myself that was low in sodium, but big on rich & chocolatey flavor.

This Low Sodium Hot Chocolate Recipe Is:

  • Rich
  • Velvety
  • Creamy
  • Sweet
  • High in Antioxidants (thanks to the cacao powder)
  • A great late night treat
  • Gluten Free, and can easily be made vegan/dairy free by using almond milk or oat milk
